Thumbs up Vir "Club Cranky Gets Invited"

The friendly folks down south at the Second Strike Superformance Owners Group have deceided to "Invite" the boys from Club Cranky to their open track event at VIR.
This is the second trip for some of us but the first invite for the "Club".
We look forward to having a great time on the track with our buddies from the friendly south.
We may even have a little fun off the track back at the "Clubhouse".

JM can fill in any details that he likes.

Question Club Clampett

Hey Prof,

Is Club Clampett going to be visiting with us at the "clubhouse"?

Also, who all is going to be making the trip with the Club?

McCrank,
There will be no "maybe". I'm going for sure.
Since this is a SPF kind of event I guess I'll have to bring that dam big block. I sure won't be the fastest guy on the track. But on the bright side, maybe I'll blow that sum***** up and have an excuse to put in a small stroker. Hmmm. Don't get behind me and watch out for the oil slick.

Well boys...

It will be the core crew of Club Cranky plus a couple of newcomers.

For a moment there, it didn't look like we were going to be able to get registered.

But I managed to pull a few strings and take out a local girl from down that way. It was an agreement, I take out Racer Al's sister Jethrette and a we'd be fixin' to some some racing with the Club Clampett Crew.

I have attached Jethrette's picture.

I have no idea why I can't post this picture. I've tried bmp & jpeg formats and its only 6K in size.

I was trying to post last night from home. I had upgrade to IE 6.0 and I've run into some problems, so let me try it from work.

I'm trying one more time...

Al, sorry you can't make it. As fer the movie, yup that was me in the George Clooney roll spouting...."We're dummer than a bag of hammers!"

Lets hear that song one mo' time from the "Soggy Bottom Boys"!

Angry You callous b^stards...!

Sure, she ain't nothin' to write home about, but she sure can fry up some catfish and makes corn bread good 'nuf.....and she can suck start Harley in a pinch, besides...

Glad you guys got the official "Sherman-T-Potter-Okey-Dokey"! I was afraid that we'd have to soldier on in the Club Cranky tradition without you guys as a role model. I don't think I can drink all those TnT's by myself...but I've been known to try.

Stay in touch...I haven't made my room reservations as of yet, but will this weekend. I'll probably go for the Hampton again. But, I'm visitin' Club Cranky Sat PM...let me know what to bring...!

Lightbulb What to bring?

FF,
Here's a hint, last year you told us that the only good barbecue comes from Tennesee.
We will put it to the test.

Smile Gee, Cranky....ribs?

Gee.....Cranky, ribs? You guys sure know how to make it tough on a guy, don't ya...? I need to know if the house has a gas grill, or a smoker, or something like that. Depending on how many are coming, I need to know how big a grill....oh, and the grill needs a top! I've got a gas grill I could use if I brought it, but it'll be tough getting it to the house, then retreiving it again on Sunday.

Also, need a head count....how many's plannin' on eatin' with us? And need someone to take care of beans, potato salad, bread, etc. I'll do my part, but I ain't no grocery chain, y'know...!

Oh, and don't forget I'm leaving for VIR Thursday, so I need to have some way to keep the ribs cold until Saturday PM. Anyone have any ideas...?

Aaaahhhhhh, yes....you guys will hate to see me leave....Emeril I ain't, but pork barbeque I know....verrrrry well!
