Hey John,
Any update on the Club Cranky t-shirts? Nobody believes me when I tell them that I'm a member. . I've got to prove it to them. Thanks.

Steve,

I have the shirts. I brought the shirts to the Glen to show everyone. The problem is the Club logo on the front is too small.
The back looks great, but the logo I created is only about 5 inches wide, I want it 10 to 12 inches wide.

I am trying to get the shirt dude to redo the shirts. He wants to charge me cost to redo them. I ain't paying another dime. I have a huge bill on my credit card for them and my next step is to call my credit card.

Once I get a satisfactory response, I will reply to all by email.

Sorry for the holdup....bur you ARE a member! Now get yer butt to the Glen!

Ahhhh....so size DOES matter! That's what I thought.

No sweat, you're a North Joisey guy, I think you know how to get the t-shirt guy to cooperate.

Like I said before, the wife already approved the Glen trip next year. We'll make a mini-vacation out of it. I'm going to borrow my father-in-laws truck and rent a trailer. Looking forward to it.

JM,
'Ol Don Durner was absent because he and the fam were visiting us out here in So. Cal trying to learn how to surf! Instead of an oil down, he got a bad case of sunburn and had to DNF the second day on the beach, so he came up and visited with me.

I now have carnal knowledge of Club Cranky members that is unprintable here on CC. Boy, you guys really live the wild life back on the right coast, don't you??!!

Looks like a fun place...wish I could make it some day.

Thumbs up

Big Bob,

Sorry to hear about McFez...sounds like SOP for an easterner though if you ask me.

I told him to use SPF 30 not SAE 30W at the beach!!!

You sir, have Carte Blanche if you ever make it east. Both Roger and I have told you that, you have a place to stay if you need it!

In regards to the Crankoids, we're not wild, just hav some fun. The best part is, is when there is a mechanical failure.....these guys jump all over the car like those little robots repairing the pocket watch in the movie, "...batteries not included".

They really are a special group. Even the newest members, Steve Smith, Steve Klayman and Bob Stevens felt right at home.

Turk.

To the best of my knowledge there was not a big block in attendance, Watkins Glen is a road course not a drag strip or parking lot. The car that oiled the track was an RX7 with a bad fitting on his 8 quart dry sump.

Yeah, 50w racin' oil don't do much for sunburn, but ya don't smell lke a coconut or banana either. D*MN, that guy Evans brings new meaning to the name "BIG Bob"! Sat in his car (really sweet ride, for a small block), and couldn't get within 8" of the pedals!! He lives next to an Emu ranch, and there ain't nothin naturally green for 300 miles around. Sure wasn't much like home, but they got some roads out there that made me try to flat foot the rental.

Thanks for the hospitality Bob, and the great lunch. Sorry I couldn't stay and check out the photos, but there were all those dental-floss bikini's back at the hotel that needed attending to.

McFEZ

PS: Got something for you that I wanted to deliver in person, but I F'd up. Watch your mail.

McFez,
I was down near La Jolla today, and I saw a bumper sticker on the back of a small car packed with teenage beach-worshippers that said,..."A girl can never have too many bikini's."

Well, yeah...especially when the one's they were wearin' were so small that you could stuff 100 of them into one of my shoes and still have room left over. They sell lots of kite string and band-aids around here during the summer.

I think it's my turn to visit back east sometime.

Bob,

This is where all of the SoCal girls get their suits.

Wicked weasel

I guess that the Aussies know what they are doing.

This is one fine import and I hope that our balance of trade does not go completely bonkers due to this.

Jesus, I thought of trade restrictions like they have put on steel.

But all I can say to that is "TAKE IT OFF"

Default Lori & Cranky sweating from the event.

Here is a pic of Cranky fresh in the pits with his beautiful passenger, Lori. Notice the thumbs up.

She loved every minute of it. Lori commented what a big, strong man Cranky was (very breathy ala Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday Mr. President!)

Thumbs up Women???? We gots women!

This one is just for Turk.....

We don't get many women, but the ones we do get are Grade A Prime Cut. Here is a shot of Terry Shanks Pit Crew relaxing in the evening in her pit duds near the Club Cranky bonfire at the Seneca Lodge. I don't believe she likes men who fart all night long

The best part is......this beauty is actually OLD ENOUGH to do the nasty things that LNP wishes he could do!!!!

Crankoids

Congrats--you had one he!!'uv a great time by all accounts. If we don't find a way to get our opposite coasts thing figured out for the sake of humanity--shame on us!

Johnny

What a babe! And inflatable! What every traveling sheepman needs. Probably cleaned up alot easier than these wooly dolls I keep finding in my Gashole trip hotel rooms. Damn tough essplaining to the wife why I keep using up her Woolite.

Jamo,

Ahhh, my sweet inflatable love doll, Jamettahhhhh!!!! Named in honor of the Gashole Hye Sheepherder. She is a treat to behold my friend, but how she chose me, I haven't a clue!!

I was telling some friends about the love doll the other night over dinner and my buddies wife says to me, out of the blue...."You simply have to use Warm Liver in the Sheep's Love Pouch....it makes it feel like THE REAL THING!"

I was speechless and my Risotto almost chugged out my nose.

Default Almost makes me want to move east, almost.

John et al,
Looks like you guys had a great time. Except for the requisite mechanical problems experienced by some. One of these years I am going to do a tour of the states and hit some of the tracks on the other side of the Rockies. Don't worry I will warn you I am coming.

take care

Default Will hold you to that Jim!

Jim,

You're more than welcome to come join us! No need to warn us since we have to get clearance to leave the state anyway (Post Office pics and all that)!

If you DO come east, meet us at the Glen. It is without a doubt, THE best road course on the East Coast...Heck, maybe even the country!
