I received an E-mail from Royal Purple, it was their product "Royal Ice" that had the distilled water warning. Their reason makes sense to me; Distilled water has all minerals removed, making it "starved" for minerals, thus corrosive to aluminum. They recommend tap water.

Now, what's the correct plumbing for a catch can?? I've seen a number of installations with different configurations. Some seem to be pressure vessels, others just an open container to catch a bit of water, and some just plain don't make sense. Anybody know what is "right" ?
