Default How many universal joints?

How many universal joints did you use between the column and the rack two or three? I am using Flaming River roadster column and Mustang II rack. Did you use any shock absorbing universal joints?

Default Three

I have a splined universal on my MII rack, another universal as it clears the header bend, and a 3rd that makes the final turn to the column. No rag joints anywhere.

Ididit column with two borgenson universals. One at the rack, one at the end of the column. I did not use shock absorbing universals, after 2,000 miles only big potholes are a problem. I do not sense any vibration to warrant the shock absorbing universals. Keep building!
