Side Pipe or Header Cracking

I have been looking at pictures of side pipe mounting for cobras and also hearing people say they need to be rubber mounted or they will crack. From what I can see in the pictures posted many of you have hard mounted your pipes. I personally dont like to see the pipes rattling back and forth any time you give the throttle a blip but I dont want to be going through headers or pipes.

I know Roscoe has put many miles on his car and I have never heard him talk about cracking or breaking exhaust parts. From the pictures of his set up I dont see that they are rubber mounted.

Just wondering what experiences you all are having?
