Well,
I ended up not going... Sorry for the false advertising, but when I got home on Friday night and went to pull the Cobra into the shop while I loaded the trailer, I found a big puddle of oil on the floor.
Long story short, I had dragged a small hole in the oil pan. Fortunately had only lost maybe a quart, so I didn't hurt the engine, but now I have to remove the pan and weld it up.
In my car I normally have to remove the engine to get the pan off. In the past few years, this would make the second time pulling the engine to remove the pan, so I am going to cut the cross-member out of the frame and either make it a bolt-in, or re-route the cross member a couple inches forward in a C-shape and weld it back in. Either route is less work than pulling the engine and this way, I can pull the pan in the future anytime I need to... Its always something!
