Mickey Thompson makes some excellent Street Radial tires for 15". I've run 325x50x15s on the rear for years and they certainly do get sticky when they are heated up and have given me pretty good longevity. I've read several posts by people who have run then on all four corners and have been happy with them. Be advised, they are just a LITTLE dicey on wet pavement and worthless in snow. (personal experience)

Thanks I appreciate the advice. Was the Willwood setup a 6 prison setup?

Default Best brakes for 15"

Good question. Kirkham used Wilwood 6 piston calipers with 12.2" discs for the no-expenses-spared billet car built for Larry Ellison, see page 17 here: http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/im...aoe/aoe_12.pdf

I'm also looking for a decent set of brakes that fit the 15" Halibrands at the moment and would be interested in what others did.

When I was at a Kirkham Open House, a Shelby dealer was there discussing using Wilwood brakes on CSX4000 cars with one of the Kirkham brothers. It may have been Tom. In any case which ever brother it was, he thought that the standard Kirkham brakes were better than the 6 piston setup used on the billet car.
