It was a compliment. I know most of the posts involve insults. This is something new to most people here.

Dave from Chandler.

Dale, I look forward as well. Right now is my busy season with work. It's all I can do to think up unique excuses to go for a quick drive...
Dave, yeah, I get the sarcasm. Funny how we just now are commenting on the woman, wife, girlfriend. . .definitely the cobra makes her all the more sexy! Good for you Skully!!
Thanks for the welcome Scotchman. . .
Pmiller, If you're on parole and you have a cobra, then not all criminals are stupid unless of all things they stole it or they are a relative of Bernie Madoff. Either case, they got great taste in cars...
Happy Memorial Day! Thanks to all who served and to my fellow Marines out there!!

Welcome Eric to this great little hot town. Just remember it is never too hot to drive as with all the kewl comments and looks it is well worth the efforts. Go ahead and drive the Cobra as is,...there will always be time to make changes. Look forward to meeting you.

Thanks Gr8Cobra. Appreciate the advice. I will admit at first it was hard to get past the bodywork and paint but eventually I said WTF! Should I really care what somebody else might think?
I do enjoy the heck out of it and knowing not that many get an opportunity to drive such an iconic and beautiful machine. It also saves me money on therapy! Feeling stressed? Take a drive and come back with a grin!
Looking forward to you as well.

Eric

Az cob1,
" Feeling stressed? Take a drive and come back with a grin!"

Tru dat!

Best to keep some muscle relaxer handy (liquid or prescription). I've had so many instances in my 20 years of having my Chobra where my jaws would lock in rictis and not release for days. Imagine 'splain' that. Sort of like the TV commercial " consult medical attention if ### lasts more than four hours"

Default Tuesday nights...

Hey Eric. I didn't see any posting about AZ Cobra get togethers on Tuesday evenings at the 5 'n Diner on Bell and 75th Avenue. We usually meet between 1630 and 1800 for a lite dinner and tell some lies...usually around 6-8 of us. Come to join us tomorrow if you can. Bring your gun! We love them.
Remember Memorial Day, Marine. I was US Army (Cuban Crisis, Vietnam). You remember, we were the ones who came to your rescue all the time!!
Regards
Bill B

Bill, That's what I'm looking for is a get together like that. I probably have another 30 days of blasting through work projects then I'm cutting back a bit. Late June early, July my schedule will be a little more accommodating. . .
Bob, you have my respects for your service!! I was just a young kid during that time...

Thanks for the reminder. I'm still pushing through work projects for the next 25 days. (Basically til end of June) Usually work 10am until 2am. Gotta make hay while the sun shines!
I will see for next Tuesday if I can knock off early. Don't mean to be so elusive. . . Can't wait to see the Cobras and gain some ideas for mine. .
Eric
