From what I've read, if the edging tape is pulled off while the plasti-dip is still wet, then it leaves a nice edge. Once it has had the chance to cure, then taking tape off will leave a jagged edge, unless its cut first ( which of course is extra work and possible cut into the cars paint).
Has anyone tried the clear plasti-dip ( i think there is a clear and then a gloss finisher) on the cobra nose to protect from bugs or stone chips??
