Darn it, Karl, was looking forward to seeing you on this trip. I am really sorry for all the problems you've had with your cars. Hopefully it's only a head gasket and nothing more serious. Keep us informed.

At least you have a legitimate reason for not going, rather than being scared to go too close to the border.
