My experience is you have to shop around every couple of years if you see your premium increase. I'm convinced sometimes they lowball the first couple of years and then slowly increase the premium hoping the client is too lazy to change. I had a Club Cobra highly recommended insurer for several years and found one almost half the premium after 3 years. My agreed upon value is $60k and the premium is $380/year.
