Do we want to use our own cars on the track or their cars (Dodge Vipers)?

Renting Bondurant's museum for a day is going to cost money, but renting the entire facility (track) would probably put the event out of reach of most of the participants.

I will take care of any cost to rent for the museum. John will get back to me soon about track availability and cost. Any other concerns we should plan?

Wow Bill! That would be cool. Follow up please. Any fees for entry? Food area? Tables? Open space indoors or out? Track excluded?

Dennis, thanks so much for opening your office for the party for so many years! And thanks to Scotty for offering to let this bunch into his house next year! I hope there isn't an HOA that will kick you out for doing it!

No fees for anyone if we just rent the museum. I'll see what the rates are for extras, track use, etc. No entry fees to attend. Inside food area with tables available. We can park our Cobras right outside in a row. It would be nice if we had the Marines pick up the kid's toys. I'll try to have a professional photographer there (John P.?). I'm excited about this opportunity for us. Bob Bondurant may be available for guest speaker and other surprises. I'll update ya'll when I can!

Bill, I have tried for 3 years to get the Marines back. Even tried pulling strings through my retired Marine Colonel brother and have gone through the top down from Washington DC. Marines said they have been cut back in man power too severely to provide people. Phoenix Children's Hospital has been our donation recipient for the past 2 years. Thanks for your efforts.

I have thought about renting the museum for years. When I inquired the cost was huge. If Bill can pull this off.. MAJOR CUDOS to him.

I will definitely fly out for this.

This possibility is a long way off but if Bill could nail it down, we could make a concerted effort to get as many Cobras to show up as possible. I'm betting a whole lot, that never or rarely participate, would come out of the woodwork. Be a heck of a photo op to have a big bunch of Cobras parked in front of the Bondurant sign. Could probably be worthy of at least one magazine article as well as the newspaper. Big Fun!

I remember a few years ago when a lady with cancer requested a cobra ride for her husband. Does anyone else.remember? We had 34 cars show.up for that. Most I've ever seen at an event. With all of the new members we should be able to beat that number.

Thumbs up 2016 Christmas Party at Bondurant Racing School

Here's the latest news:

The autocross and the museum, with a 30 person group minimum, will be

$75. per person (Normal price is $150.) The Road Course rental would be a lot

more $$$. I have arranged a professional photographer to be there at my

expense. We have a year to get many participants involved. Let's get busy!

WOW, cannot believe that we missed the party, looks like you all had fun!

I would pay $75.00 to watch some of these guys autocross their Cobra's, handful on the road course, let alone a tight technical course hahahaha!
