Not Ranked
Default Potential Arizona North Trips

This whole area would make a bunch of great cruises based in Flagstaff, Payson or Prescott.
Keep in mind AZ is our 6th largest state behind AK, TX, MT, CA and NM

Flagstaff: Default Parallels Plesk Page 1 day trip east to:

Meteor Crater: Meteor Crater Meteor Crater in Northern Arizona

Walnut Canyon: Walnut Canyon National Monument (U.S. National Park Service)

You can pass on The Petrified Forest: Petrified Forest National Park (U.S. National Park Service)
and The Painted Desert: Painted Desert Arizona

Also a 1 day trip based in Flagstaff:

Wupatki National Monument: Wupatki National Monument (U.S. National Park Service)

Sunset Crater National Monument: Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument (U.S. National Park Service)

The Arizona Snowbowl Lift: Arizona Snowbowl great view.

Prescott http://www.prescott.org/

Visit Whiskey Row: WhiskeyRow.US - Prescott Arizona's Source For Everything On Whiskey Row

Or Lynx Lake: Lynx Lake in Prescott Arizona | Camping, Fishing, Directions

Jerome and Old Mansion park Jerome Arizona

Then north to Sedona: Visit Sedona | The official site of the Sedona Tourism Bureau for overnight.

http://www.sedonaairportrestaurant.com/ shop downtown.

Visit local attractions which are numerous. I used to live there. Without driving off-road and more Indian ruins: I would include Red Rock State Park: Arizona State Parks

Jeep Tours: Pink Jeep Tours | Off-Road Adventures and Sightseeing Tours

Chapel of the Holy Cross: Sedona- Chapel of the Holy Cross. Sedona Arizona USA

Tlaquepaque Shopping: Tlaquepaque shopping Sedona Arizona, arts and crafts village, galleries, attractions. . Bring bucks for jewelry.

Then another drive up Oak Creek Canyon: Coconino National Forest - Home

Then enjoy dinner and overnight in Williams, AZ. About 40 miles west of Flagstaff: http://www.williamschamber.com/

Next day in Grand Canyon National Park: Grand Canyon National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

Don’t plan any hikes. Just touristy stuff on the south rim. Great whole day and back to Williams. You can even leave your car in Williams and take a train: http://www.thetrain.com/

We take this route every year: http://www.azrt66.com/funrun.htm

Overnight in Kingman: Kingman AZ Visitor Center

Oatman is a fun place to visit not to stay: Oatman, Arizona and the wild mules - DesertUSA

How about Jacob Lake, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire Etc.

Fun stuff when it's a bit warm down in the Valley.

AZ Bob
