Default Tahoe

Hi Dan

Been following your awesome trip and like you said...plan to join in parts and meet fellow Cobra groupies.

I'm from the Bay Area...not going up with the Bay Area Cobra Club as I tend to go off on my own, but I have reserved a place in Tahoe that my wife and I love since it's close to the lake and casinos....ie .....more of a Spa (my cost to get her to go)

Either way....love to meet you folks and just say hello and take it as it comes....

See you in Tahoe

Mesa Mike, Solvang was taken off the itinerary several posts back since a nasty fire has blackened Refugio canyon.

Pedal faster, to keep up.

Dan is in Redondo Beach per face book. I would imagine he is scoping areas near Santa MOnica.

I say the first one to Napa wins ! I'm really looking forward to the curvy coastal roads with gnarly rock formations and salt water mist. My dog Toby wants to come, so I'm looking for a pair of goggles for him.

Great picture Bob. It's a good thing I did go to Santa Monica. The place I picked is not where we want to stay so I'm back to looking.

This weekend, I will put together a list of motels for the trip. I will include dates, rates and phone numbers. Should I post it on here or send it via email to those interested?

I was ordering some parts from Finish Line today. He was all excited about our trip and offered to open his Cobra Museum for us to see. It is not open to the public but once a month,so seems like a good idea. It is in Martinez, near Benecia. I told him either Tuesday or Wednesday and would coordinate if we wanted. All original shop equipment and cars. Let me know if interested.

Can I get a "Hell yeah"? That would be perfect for after the Napa experience. We can leave from there and head toward Tahoe.. Works just right. Does anyone disagree?

You're a week late if you want to be in Tahoe on the 23rd for the boat show. Besides I want to post motel names and phone numbers.

The 21 for Cobra Museum and Napa or ? That will leave the 22nd to take a nice route to Lake Tahoe. I know the area. Napa,Auburn, Grass Valley, Truckee to Olympic Village, Tahoe City and north shore of Lake Tahoe. The stretch of road between Grass Valley and getting back on hwy 80 is fantastic. Real trees and great driving.
