Congrats, looks really nice.
That was a long trip for sure and thankfully everything went well.

While I had the wheels off getting their new tires, I snapped some more pics...
The engine will get a minor makeover with some period-correct valve covers and air cleaner, but this is how it looks now.

Here are my reworked sidepipes- tucked in nicely under the car (compared to the way they were in the photo in the first post in this thread- They are moved in 2-1/2 inches. And, since I had to cut them all up to re-fit them, I also pulled all the padding out of the glasspacks... Now the car sounds perfect
and, to protect the fiberglass footwells and rockers, I made some heatshield panels out of a piece of scrap aluminum sheet I had out in my scrap pile (I love putting pieces of junk back into productive service again )
now the car's back down on the ground- New tires, new pipes, and an owner who can finally adjust the seat to where he is able to push the clutch in without having to lay down in the driver's seat, hahahah

Robert, why would you want to change out the air cleaner and valve covers? Considering your last Cobra, I thought you were a bling-thing kinda guy.

Naw, I'm old-school, Karlos... I like round air cleaners, and finned valve covers.

Ok, Robert how long before you turn the RWL tires inward, like the green car, or our we sticking with this look, I like this look on the FIA car. I can't believe you did all this, on what no Sleep!!! I think I'm going with round chrome air cleaner too, for my street look.

Yeah, I'm leaving the white letters out this time.

I'm thinking of getting some wide white wall overlays for mine. There's not enough white on the car.

HAHAHA... I got the joke the second time I read your post, Ron... That was a good one.
BTW- why haven't you posted any pics of your car yet? A lot of the Arizona Cobra guys would LOVE to see what that car looks like when it's clean, hehehehe...

I'm still trying to get the windshield clean. Also, been plotting to refinish and raise-up my exhaust like you did. :-)

I agree- I am VERY pleased (and impressed) with the build quality and the engineering that Unique puts into their cars, and the Weavers are a fantastic group of guys- Alan probably endured 20 hours of phone calls and emails from me seeking technical information while I was doing my due-diligence before closing this deal...
And no, not a private party- This car was at Fast Lane Classics in St Louis, and I arranged a trade with them for my former ClassicRoadsters Cobra (plus an undisclosed number of dead Presidents, stacked about as thick as a deck of cards... ).

Ron, I wouldn't bother working on your exhaust until you actually have a problem with it. Neither Keith nor I have any issues with our exhaust on our ERA 289 FIAs. They certainly look like they should scrape but they don't very often at all. I always remember to try to go diagonally over any speed bumps and extreme driveway/street intersections.
