That's a great idea Ron. Cobra Brothers coming together to help the spouse of a deceased brother. Like a Biker Gang. I will be there if I can.
Please give address. Been laid up since August 5th with herniated L3-L4 disc. On Walker, can't drive, left leg numb.
Maybe the wife will let me use her car.

Dan you should buy it. I would but my wife will only let me have one Kirkham at a time.
|
I am sure we will see it for sale very quickly for those or higher prices since King Cobra is a dealer out east...

That won't happen according to Steve (King Cobra) personal word.
I directly questioned him on this exact topic.
He 100% said he is NOT buying it to resale.
Infact, he is selling his current personal ERA very soon as this is going to be his personal car (maybe selling it to me).

Well, I've improved from numb to ache but won't be able to drive that far yet. Would if I could. Hope sale is successful.

He'll hold it for a little while, but it will be back up for sale within the next 12 months

I do the same thing you do Bill. Buy them hold them till something better comes along and upgrade. You have sold many more cars than me.

Hey Steve
Great buy, looks like a very very nice FIA.
I guess you will be keeping this a while hard to upgrade on that one!
Hope it serves you well in what ever you decide to do with it.

Thanks I look forward to getting it and seeing how a leaf spring car handles. It worked out well for everyone. Dan who wrote the post was trying to help the widow of
a club member and I paid exactly what she asked for the car. I paid her quickly, She was great full for a quick and easy transaction. Dan and Ron both went out of there way to help her and myself with the transaction. Both great guys and can't thank them enough.

Difference is, I was not a dealer, all of mine being personally owned and operated
However, you are catching up, as it's been years since I've bought or sold any Cobras

I call sour grapes... just saying. Sounds like it worked out for the parties involved. Why bring in the negativity??

Any local guy could have bought this car for $80k.
No one stepped up to the plate.
Thankfully, Steve did.
Thanks Steve, I hope you love the car.

John,
No sour grapes at all, Steve and I rarely go after the same cars, and in this case, even though I saw the post early on, another Cobra is low on my list at the moment, putting multiple family members and their health and well being in front of something as intangible as a weekend toy. If anything, I was poking at Steve (see attach emoji's above) in jovial way and not attacking him at all. I suspect the car will give Steve much enjoyment, under his ownership, as it is unlike another other he has owned to date....

Bill,
I know you are a respected member around here and I'm not trying to show any disrespect, but that's how your comments came across to me. I hope all is well with you and your family.
