Hwy 1
Just read that the beautiful California Coast Highway 1 is set to reopen, after more than a year, the end of July. A section close to Big Sur had been buried by an 80' mud slide that reached into the ocean 250'. Uber Nasty!
Really looking forward to cruising it again in my Cobra, in early September, if all goes to plan.

Thinking about going clear up to "Cows' Bell" MT and then heading west to WA, then down the coast to just north of LA before heading for home. Pretty sure I'll take close to two weeks to do it. No rush and lots to see and enjoy.
Wanna go along?

Karl, as the unofficial greeter, from the great NW, we would love it, if you could spend a little time, to hang with us up here. As a honorary NW member, we would even show you our secret handshake. If you could give us a time frame, I'm sure I could scare up a few member, You would have to put up with me too, since I'm retired, and have nothing else to do to show you the sites around here. I've already had a few member mention your trip, so anything we can do to make Washington, more fun, we're here for you, Cheers Tom.

Thanks Tom. Not sure of my dates yet. Most likely in the first half of September. Hard to avoid major toasty temps and then rain up younder.
I'll certainly be posting my lift off.

Sound's like a plan Karl. I've already talked to a few of our member's, and we look forward to showing our "Brethren Az. gentleman " around the beautiful NW. We'll keep you guy's out of Seattle & Tacoma, as we know Cobras don't do slow Their traffic suck's. Cheers Tom.

Ah, would love to come along. Have not been in the US since I joined this forum!
I have friends in Mesa, which is on my list...
Guess I can only "join" reading about it. Please post some pics!

"For how long?"
Not long, just lots of them.
But as for me, I've got a bladder the size of Nebraska.

:-) Important to make stops, to see things better.
But as the saying goes, if you drive faster you have to look faster to see the same!
