Ok Glen, I will explain the Belt joke a little better. First since my car hadn't been fired up, it was venom less, 'Harmless'. Kinda in the same way any snake that can't hurt you is harmless, so if there is a Cobra (snake) that can't hurt you, it's only usefulness left is to be made into a (Snakeskin) belt, pair of boots, purse, etc. I'm I the only that thought this was funny? Of course any one that owns a Cobra is a half a bubble off anyway Cheers Tom.

PhxMike, Tru Dat you don't have any paint chips. I've got more than enough for pretty much the entire group and will surely put more on during my AZ, UT, MT, Banff, WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ odyssey later this month. (Think I'll bypass Boise. Been there too much)
However, I've yet to have one "knee dent" on my RF fender, like some Windex Imbibers...

One of these days you'll learn the secret of Karl. You seen his little note at the end about the land of pigs the butcher is King.? Well there's more about pigs that you need to learn when it comes to Karl. Arguing with Karl is like mud wrestling with a pig pretty soon you come to know that the pig enjoys it.

Tom,
Aaah I thought it might be some smart (but somewhat critical) acronym for Cobras....you know, like "All Loosely Fitted Accessories Remain On Motorway Enraging Others".
Yes, I know, that doesn't spell "COBRA"
Cheers!
Glen

"In the Land of the Pigs, the Butcher is King" is a Meat Loaf-ism that I liked.

Cancelled
Car Show has been cancelled. Guess we well all have to go see the movie on our own. I will.

There's a second trailer out for the Ford/Ferrari movie and it'll definitely be a "must see" for me. There's some grousing in another thread about the choice of actors, but who cares? If having big names star, mores the better for getting people to the movie.
I looked online at the Glendale Drive In's site and the movie will be there starting 11/15/19, a Friday night. Their entire parking lot is paved, so that rules out the "pea gravel" excuse for not driving Cobras
Bundle up (temps might get down into the 60°s?). Bring your chairs and a method to receive FM, for the sound, (phone app, bluetooth speakers, ear buds, etc)
Let's bring a bunch of our go carts out for a little joy ride.
Not much fear of someone sneaking in by being in the trunk.

Sounds like a plan. I'm sure Adrian and I would give it a go.

That was soooo funny and unexpected. Well done!! The drive-ins are well I cant remember seeing one around here in a long time. We're talking about a hooky day matinée. Ventura county CA.
