Hersh,
What's the status on the GT40? Inquiring minds want to know.

Mike ,
I sent the ECM back to Australia. They are supposed to
look at it and determine the problem, fix it and send it back.
Hopefully soon. As far as the rest of the car it is finished
with exception of a few small details. I posted some more pictures in my gallery.

Hershal,
I am interested in taking a look at your paint scheme on the GT40. I really like the stripes. I see that you do not have them on clubcobra gallery any longer. Can you e-mail me some of the photos. As many as you would like is ok with me. 2gnospam@cox.net
Thanks
Gary

Thanks Bob,
I finally got the computer back today . Now I won't feel like the
guy who built his boat in the basement. All this time I could
only look at the car and not drive it. I should have this thing
running soon.

Mikie,
I did that ! I had to quit, I got tired of windexing the
inside of the windshield.
How is Ginny ? I hope things went well.
The memorial service was really nice and I read yours
and Ginny's letter. There was lots of folks there.

Hersh,
Ginny is doing good. She is up and about. Walkig though gingerly. We really missed not attending the service. Bob said not a dry eye in the house.
Thanks for reading what Ginny wrote.
See you soon.

Yep !
Got it under control. All I got to do is find the replacement
part here in the states cause it would take too long to get it
from Australia. It's a Girling clutch master cylinder..Part number
#1682TVS. With a 7/8th" bore. Any body that might
know where to get one of these please let me know. It
is a universal part and it was not an OEM item from a dealer.
Don't worry Ben You'll get a good long ride as soon as
I can work out all these pesky little gremlins.
Hersh

Well,
Do you have the master cylinder installed? If so get the car dynoed on Monday and then you and Paula can join Ginny, myself and a host of others at the 5 & Diner on 75th. ave and Bell.
The car sounds great...To bad the Aussies left so soon. You will have to record the sound and send them a clip.

Wilwood & Girling Interchangable
Hersh,
Have you tried getting your Master cylinder from www.wilwood.com ? I believe the Wilwood and Girling cylinders are interchangable. They have a 7/8" cylinder because I just bought one from them.

All is well. The master cylinder for the clutch is in and it's working just fine.
Mikie , I will try to get it dynoed asap. I want to go out and about with my new car as bad as ever.
Jerry, Thanks for the tip, I go to that site when I need brake info.

Hey Ben,
Yesterday was one year to the day she was delivered by way of phoenix airport. She was finished and completed upon the engine being fired on the 10th of June. Unfortunatly she didn't make it to the fling because of some computer problems. She has her new license plate 1 LEMANS on and looks pretty good if I do say so myself. My wife made the statement awhile back that this car gets treated more like a princess everyday. So from then on we called her the Princess. It does seem to fit. Well, Princess goes in next week for a total dyno tune. Then I can put some more miles on her and start giving out those promised rides.
Ben, weren't you in that line somewhere ?
Hersh
PS... Thanks Ben for the flashback...MAN ! how time flies when you're having fun !
