Stroker Boy
Ok I have decided on the engine block.
I am going with a brand spanking new 342 stroker short block from Ford.
No more changing my mind.
Official and done!
Anybody have a used 65 mm throttle body and 75 mass air they don't need I would be interested!

They offer the 342 and the 347. The difference is the 347 is bored .30 something over.

I would hate to see the nickname you guys would have gave me if I put a blower on it!
I like stroker much better than funnel. Reminds me of the movie with the character Stroker Ace.

Well after it is built I plan to put the key in and turn....... in about 6 months. After looking at the parts list, I think I will be able to do this in less than 6 months unless the roof caves in on my house and I have to take away time from the build.

Once you start I'll stop by often to see how it's going.

***Note: I left an open, I said "about 6 months"
Anything under 6 months is about 6 months.

I was just wondering, would the compression of the stroker be to high for a supercharger?

You are asking the wrong person here. But I think there are stroked engines with blowers on them out there.

I know there is a Turbocharged 2000 SVT Cobra R(one of 300) runing around phoenix....he has to limit the boost because of the high compression ratio,I guess it won't handle the forced induction all that well. here it is.... http://forums.stangnet.com/showthrea...hreadid=263553

I assume there is a way to reduce the compression with changing the rings ect. If I ever get to that point I will look into it first before throwing one on.
