Sounds like you have a lot of time and money invested in your ride. I'm all for having fun, but take it from someone who broke his back having fun........ you REALLY need a full width 6 point rollbar , 5 point harness, arm restraints, gloves, snell 95 helmet, fuel cutoff switch, battery cutoff switch, driveshaft safety loop. Playing russian roulette racing these short wheelbase cars isn't a smart idea without the safety equipment.
