Hey Walt,
How much per gallon is collected for tax and how much is for fuel.
I understand that a considerable amount of fuel cost for most of europe is in tax and not in the cost of the fuel.

Yeah I lived in Switzerland for 2 years back in 89-91 and then it cost me $60 US to fill my 911 it was about $3.80-$4.00 a gallon. and yes it is mostly tax. But if you think thats bad try Italy back then it about $5.00 a gallon. OUCH!!

Yes, another newbie question...
Is there still an AZ cobra email list?? If so, I would like to be added. (ronald.l.olmstead@intel.com) Also, do you still "flock" to central on saturdays?? I am 6'3" and would like to see if I can fit (Comfortably?) as I have never sat in a cobra.
Thank you in advance
-Ron

mrpink, as several others in this thread have mentioned, there are some really smoking deals available on cars that people are willing to part with, for what ever reason. For something out of the norm, a friend of mine is selling his Cobrette, which is a slightly oversized "Cobra" body on a C3 Corvette chassis. Abundant leg and shoulder room, good suspension and brakes, excellent fit and finish, for low $20K's. A good way to be driving now rather than the typical several months/years that it takes to get a build put together. Drop me an e-mail if you'd like his cell #.

Yah Shoooor, you betcha. Itsa nice little mouse motor, probably in the 300-350 HP range. The guy did a super job on the car and now has another kit he stole from someone that just never got around to doing anything on it for 10 years. I think he likes the build process better than just buzzing around.

Shoots-paw, didn't notice that his original post was from '03. Did think it strange that "mrpink", who'd sent so many posts was looking for a car. Should have know that there couldn't have been more than one "mrpink". Oh well, only seen the movie 4 or 5 times. fer dumb!
