Yes it cuts it nearly in half. We got rid of the Ford Explorer and opted for a Nissan Frontier. The Ford road nice but sucked the gas and was quite useless for me. I need a truck with a bed living out there. Can't haul much crap in an Explorer and what you can haul will tear up the interior. *In hick voice, "Can't haul much hay!"*
No I haven't been up there yet (Rustler's Roost), just started a week ago. Back to doing auto claims. Kind of nice to return to auto, get paid the same with less think'n and less mental stress!
So far we ahve been living out there for a year now and have come aross what seems to be dead dogs in the 100's (Indians and the white folk) let their dogs run wild. Fricken sad. 1 dead horse on the road that was struck, 1 dead cow, Coral Snake (when I was tearing down the old chicken coop) and 2 rattlers and a number of coyotes and wild dogs. Out here you can't shoot the wild dogs unless they are attacking your livestock.
Reminds me when I was a kid growing up North outside of Mayer. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Hope to see you guys soon, I really do miss everybody. Just because I don't say much doesn't mean I don't care. Besides I miss giving Barb a hard time.
