John,
The time is the time. We would rather get up early than run in the heat of the afternoon.
see you Sunday

I seem to remember someones A/C going out and he had to keep a door open to get some air into his car.

Hmmmmm, I see Greeks are noted for good memories too. Who would of thought that it would be 100 degrees at 7000 Ft. I shouldn't have needed it. But if you recall Oh great one. It was a blown fuse and I was back in the comfort zone.

Trailer Queens? Who said that, Mikiec! I have two witnesses to me driving my queen. Stuart and John-Tucson. When they start selling 110 at the pumps everywhere, then we'll see!

Brian,
We will leave from the Chevron station at 7am. That should get us to Winkleman between 8:15 and 8:30. Unless you lead then I figure we can do the 63 miles of twisties in 10 minutes.
Bill,
Seeing as how Scott will trailer up then drive, just fill up that bad boy and unload it from the trailer at the meeting place. You should be able to run the trip on a tankful of your 110. After all you have a 42 gallon tank. Then again we could trade cars and you could drive to your hearts content.
Fitz.. Again? I've heard of trailer queens but never a shop queen.
Mikiec will not lead.
Mike

Well I talked to the Coupe owner and he was supposed to reply here, but I dont see it. He said he is baby sitting this weekend. My Dad should be in Superior on Sunday. There is a 427 body in the mold and a 427 chassis clamped to the jig waiting for me to weld. The only other Coupe that can be seen is awaiting the supercharged, intercooled Boss 302 for fitting on Monday. It really isnt much to look at right now, it was put aside for a while to finish the first one. The shop has been turned upside down and is being remodeled (thanx to me and my bright ideas). I'm really pretty disappointed, sounds like that little Dairy Queen parking lot is gonna be covered with sweet cars. Maybe one of you guys can call Jack this afternoon or Sunday morning to let him know exactly when you guys might be there. 520-689-0100. Also ask him about the Soap Box Derby he runs there. Might be another cool run for you. Tom Sneva was at the one before last. Your cars would be very cool there. We usually have a big turn out from Phoenix and Tucson. Just an idea.

Hey Mikiec are you still on the forum ? I just emailed you re. a phone call to the restaurant tomottow. When you guys leave your meeting location can you please call Maria's Restaurant at 520-356-6807, and let them know how many of you are coming from Phoenix. I'll be doing the same from Tucson. Hopefully they will be prepared for us. Did you make the call to Jack ? I'll stay on line for a few minutes and see if you reply. John
