Hi Perry, I am unable to learn how to post any pictures - this computer stuff is way beyond me. I arrived home on Tuesday night. The entire trip put 4,837 miles on the Cobra, total miles is 37,000 +. I arrived in Colorado Springs in the rain on Sat. night and drove up Pikes Peak on Sunday. The road to the top was initially closed because of ice and snow on the dirt portion. As I drove up they were opening sections of the road as the conditions improved. I stopped and waited at the 11,000' and 13,000' elevations. It was a bit chilly, the temp at 11,000' was 37 degrees. I finally had a chance to drive in the snow, it snowed around the 12,000' level for a few minutes. The road is in good condition, if you don't mind driving on dirt / mud the last few miles. Of course the paved portion is good. The Model A Club guys were having a "hill climb" event about the 9,000' level and it was very interesting to see almost 100 beautifully restored "A"'s doing a timed run about 200 yards long. I "raced"one of them and received hundreds of thumbs up and had lots of pictures taken of both cars ( I did stay 1/2 a car length behind him out of respect for their event). If you ever get the oppurtunity to drive up Pikes Peak in the Cobra - DO IT. The top, 14,110', was in a cloud so the view wasn't very good, also it was a bit cooler than 37 degrees. I did not use the top on the car for this drive. The rest of the trip to Boston ( FFR Open House), Toledo, Columbus ( London Cobra Show), and Kentucky is another story. I drove for 8 hours in rain thru Ohio, Penn. N.Y., Conn., and Mass., boy did I get wet ! The Cobra is with our daughter and her husband in Kentucky, I'll get it back in September. If you get down this way please look me up. John

Thumbs up

Sounds great John.

You should get the Ironman award for all those miles! We have to get back to Utah and Colorado one of these days too, the scenery is worth it ,even if you get wet. We're thinking of doing an Az trip next spring, we'll see.
Thanks,
Perry.

I agree, John, you are DA MAN! But you might need your drug dose adjusted upward.

Bob
