Bob you did do a good job of getting us from Mesa to Winkleman. Making that one right turn was easy and simple for MOST of us. I was hoping the pace would have been a little brisker, considering that you had the radar detector and also knowing that if a copper did want to come after someone over the speed limit, he'd have lots of choices before he could get caught up to you.

Glad ya'll had a good time without me. I spent Sat working on an 'emergency' art job that the customer now doesn't even need (but will still pay for).
Looks like I missed the run of the year.

Dave I hear sense of direction is the 2nd thing to go. Couldn't you just have followed the line of Cobras?

Thanks John, Mikie et al for a great run. The dessert was much too big, but I managed to finish it.
After the stop sign & turn at Superior I panicked because I smelled something burning. Did I leave the E-brake on? No. Something rubbing on a tire? Something burning a hose? Wiring? I finally realized that Karl was up ahead, thus the burning rubber.

Karl,

Can only burn rubber now by having his left rear tire rub the body.
