Our SL-C hasn't had as many years experience on the track, but I would love the opportunity to compare track times as we have developed it extensively. I employ a full-time suspension specialist. Where I have seen times compared it favours the SL-C.

That sort of price increase is not the case as a significant portion of the cost of the Aus Spec SL-C is localised here in Australia, so isn't affected as much by exchange rates.

I think the Ultima is going to be an Easy car to register ( I hear there are few on the road already) and with the steel chassis any mods I want to make can be easily done at home.
Dave, make sure you check the spec and compliance type associated with them. I know it has been a struggle for many Ultima owners here after the low volume compliance approvals deceased. I've spoken to few ultima kit owners. But you won't have any trouble with the chassis as you will test and correct it as required.

With the SL-C we provide chassis testing reports, body testing reports, seat belt reports, suspension reports, handling test reports, brake test reports etc.

I'm extremely proud of the SL-C, here are a couple of photos of what the kits look like when delivered to customers to show you why.

Good luck with it Dave.

Ultima GTR has been on my shopping list for quite some time too ever since I first saw it with a twin turbo lexus engine.

It would be interesting to see what the SLC 0-60 time is too compared to the Ultima.

I think I would have to go LS7 a cam and multi throttle body Jenvey set up.

The good thing about the Ultima is that it only takes 6 minutes to build.

I'm off to the shed to polish something up.

Goodluck to you aswell Craig. Have you got a licensed SLC on the road?

I am not looking for an Ultima Vs SLC thread but thanks for your input. I have no interest in RCR or the SLC. Others may and I recommend that they contact you or start a new thread.

Ok back to Ultima's

Thanks to all the people that emailed, pm'd and called regarding Ultima's.
I am not the dealer or Australian Rep, I am very happy to help with what I can and discuss ADR's and so on.

I have put Alan's contact details below.
Contact him for prices and so on or just go to the Ultima webpage and get all your own info.

So for approx 33k you have most of the parts to build a roller. I will source my own shocks, wheels , interior trim and so on. I'm guessing on the road for 80k using a stock LS1. You don't have to paint these cars because the gelcoat is so good so that saves 10-15k. Just like B ig Kev use to say "I'm Excited"
