wow why would any one want to build one of these icv's i wish this thread had been here before i started mine, but now its too late and we will have to comply with what ever they want , i'm with andrew on this one as they are the be all,end all and thats life, anyway baz if you need seats i can lend you a set of 2008 wrx seats they fit in my drb ok and you are welcome to use them when and if you need , keep your chin up mate im next with my previous engineer pulling out now have found another one willing to take it on, or possibly he has balls, something the last one lacked so wish me luck cheers

There are people on this Forum who are more concerned of the damage this Thread will cause to them and their previously registered cars than the good it does informing those who are currently building a car and/or are trying to get it registered.

My aim is to inform those in the latter category of what faces them. I had nothing to go on and didn't receive any help in that regard either. I would love to have had a document of 'Intent to build an ICV' with a life span of about 4 years, at the beginning of the process, signed by myself and the RTA, outlining the exact ADR's applicable, and an undertaking that any amendments to ADR's would not apply during that 4 year time span.
