Default 2 Cars - $1.3Million

I was picking the Cobra up today from Ozi Cozi after having the 3M film fitted to most of the locations on the body which are prone to stone chips.

What a sight greeted me when I reached the workshop and saw not one, but two current model V12 6 litre 599 GTS red Ferrari's ($650K each) putting out 611 bhp or 456kws sitting there waiting to be done with the same treatment.

While I was there, one of them left. They were both stock off the showroom floor and hearing this one accelerate through the lower range of the sequential gearbox, pulling around 9,000 rpm as he headed south on the Waringah Freeway sounded very similar to the current F1 model.

Now I appreciate that these cars are production models and come with Compliance Plates, but how can they pass the initial model's Noise Test which we have to undertake in our I.C.V's. This Ferrari was much louder than any Cobra fitted with open Side Pipes.

I have some pics on my phone and I will try to download them onto this thread later today. Done...

This 599 GTB has had the side skirts on the rear of the roof removed to make it look like the new GTO. Not sure whether I like it.

I am really happy on the job they done on my car. This is how it looks at the moment.
