One question about your last post though, did you have no forward facing or no rear facing trailing arms on the rear, or just none at all?

Just curious, I've never owned a Jag rear end before and thought arms and legs would flail about without any?
At ShelbyFest one of the trailing arms on my car snapped
(Fortunately my nephew was driving at the time so I get to blame him )

Anyway - we took off the busted one and spent the rest of the day circulating with only the remaining trailing arm...

I have heard people say they firm things up during hard take offs. All they are doing is taking out the flex in the arm because the inner fulcrum bearings have bugger all movement. I doubt they would even have any effect on bearing wear because the trailing arm bush allows alot more movement than the bearing.

That's precisely how it was explained to me Liam, but I'm not arguing any more. If the RTA Inspector wants them fitted, they WILL be fitted. I just want to get it registered.
