Thinking of getting one of these for my cobra.

Anybody got one or anything similar?

Price is less 17.5% VAT and a further 15% discount of an order of 10 or more.
5m x 2.2 would be a better size for a cobra allowing a bit of room to walk around inside.

Shipping from the UK is expensive at around 185 pound for air freight for a single unit.

Pretty steep price ! What about the Carcoon or one of those cheap portable carports from Supacheap autos. Both available in OZ. and they can be used outside as well.

Have you seen the Australian price of the carcoon too...... The carcoon is a pain to get on and off as well.

My shed gets very damp this time of year, roll on summer I say.

Andy,

You need to insulate your roof with 50mm fibreglass anticon on mesh.
It will stop the condensation from hanging on the underside of the sheeting.
If you look around at metal roofs on these cold mornings you will notice which ones are insulated directly under the sheeting, they are wet on top of the sheeting.

Sometimes on a house you can see the difference where the insulation is,
they will insulate the main house area but not the garage, therefore the condensation is on top of the sheeting over the house and the garage roof will be dry because the condensation is hanging from the underside.

Did I mention I know a roofer who could help? Tee Hee.

Seems strange my neighbors shed about the same size doesn't have any insulation or moisture under the roof where mine literally rains in the mornings, go figure.

I'll tap Murray up for some insulation when he is back up from down south, I just fixed his bobcat so I have a favor in credit.

I'm also going to seal the floor I believe this helps a lot too.

Bring your screw gun and I'll put on the bbq.

There are similar ones made here, I think they are called "car capsules". Come with a small air pump to keep it inflated. The US one looks a little better constucted/designed than the UK one and I think the price is better too. Might check into those, they are pretty popular with the rod guys. http://www.carcapsule.com/

Just got a price on freight from the US for a car capsule $300

Looks like it's going to be an insulation job on the shed in the next couple of weeks.

Well I hooked up the mowbra and collected the anticon from my neighbor and put the anticon under the roof sheets over the weekend and the results are un believable. Absolutely no condensation at all now. I just need to do the walls and my baby will be as snug as a bug in a shed.

Cheers for the tip Harry, and thanks to Dave W for giving me a hand. and if anyone is thinking of putting up a shed anticon under the roof is a must if you have big temperature variations.

If your looking for insulation, check ebay, there is alot going cheap.
Good for you guys close to major hubs, freight kills me.

Merv there's a lot of "tradesmen" out there that don't even have a trade skill. I had some 'fun' with telstra and after five "technicians" told me what I had rung up about...my phone line is stuffed. The last bloke showed me how the system worked. He was Concreter by trade. My area, Newcastle NSW
is coordinated by a chick in Launceston Tasmania. I finally rewired the system myself while I showed the sixth "technician" how to do it. He was amazed !
