Default Boot racks

I am not sure I am that interested, but does anyone make these for Cobras?

Ha! Quite a few 'real' ones in the UK seemed to use them. They have a functional value in some situations I guess.

I don't mind them (but would only suit a vehicle that is built to look like an old car (no flashy paint colors) probably suit a BRG colored car, with tan trimmed seats.

Yeah your probably right Gav, with the manual gearbox I could just about drag anything out of the dirt roads, save me from burning out a granny shift box.

I also realised that Tan seats may not suit, probably more a Camel colored seat with granny shift.

See ya in a couple of days Mate

Probably a good place to put the flat tyre when you put your space saver spare on. Better than having the flat sitting in your wife's lap.

Thanks Doug. Could be handy on longer trips. Still not sure how easy they would be to fit, or obtain. I did see a smaller one: !/43rd scale luggage rack suitable for most sports cars | eBay

I think it comes under ADR 39/69 which states: "You shall not put a nasty ass looking metal rack on the back of your car unless you are a tradie who needs to transport sewer pipes" It's there in the fine print.

Well they do get some things right I guess. It would look as wrong on a cobra as the little daisy holder they put in Vdubs.
