merv rang the local store he said he didn't have any stock with self adherive left
but sells a 3m product that you stick on then apply the seal too
looks like nornal sticky tape but the backing comes away & thats what the door seals on fridges are held on with so must be good stuff

hope this helps tape is about $ 15 o 20m roll forgot to ask what pinch seal was worth
