Yep they are something you "want to have" but hope to "never need"
|
I have not attended the nationals before. Can someone tell me what the timetable for the weekend is
thanks Doug |
|
jeez Dave, that was lucky - lucky you weren't hurt either.
|
Phil's gunna make it
Hey Phil, I see your name on the entry list now. Good on you, we all knew you would make it.
Another Ford to kick some GM butt! :3DSMILE: |
Crickey Dave! I've see a car roll off the wheel aligning ramps in the workshop, but never anyone turning a car trailer into a tipper :o
Thankfully a very lucky outcome though. |
Only 1 more sleep, and I am on my way
|
Well car is ready as shes going to be and got my UVP for the weekend so I am good to go. Ill be flying over the Qlders on Sunday and back on Thursday (Port Douglas for a few days as part of my extensive preparation program), then drive down on Friday morning.
Cant wait. :) |
You will need all the prep you can get Andy!
|
Bring it on Bunnings boy. Im really feeling confident I can crack the high 1:20's this year.
Cheers |
LS engine breakdown
Looks like an LS engine up here snapped a crank on the weekend and won't make it to the Nationals. Sad news...... for the LS fans...
I am pretty sure all the Windsors will be in attendance? |
Thats because all the windsor boys rebuild there engines every 12 months.
|
Boxhead,
make that every 5 years. Towmaster, Is that the wizz bang 3000000hp blown, funny gased harrison? Phil |
That's the one Phil....
Using up the last of his NOS last weekend...and EXTRA 90 h.p. shot was enough to break the crank in a couple of places. That's what 300000000000000 h.p. will do guess. Cheers, Warren. |
bugger,
I was looking forward to seeing that car in action. Phil |
Gav with his monster cam will have to fly the flag for the big HP LS boys now. I reckon your up for it.
Cheers |

In any case....New engine was awesome for about 20 laps befor the T5 decided it couldn't keep up...TKO 600 now completes the whole car....all good ! Cheers, Warren. |
All packed, Valiant fueled, Cobra tied (& chained) onto trailer.
Ready as I am gunna be, plan on sleeping at Glendambo tomorrow (about 850kls away), then on to Mildura Sunday night, Melbourne Monday night. |
Aaargh, a fire proof suit isn't a requirement is it?
I have torn the house upside down and can not find mine. Pretty sure denim jeans and long shirt to wrist is ok? Anyone able to give me a detonate? I will read regs in the morning |
