I always find what you are up to interesting. Good to see posts about building cars.

Those bolts are one of those little things where you think it will be a simple job of bolting on only to find many hours work required.

The frustrating thing is when your friends come over and ask what you have done. Looks like nothing to them but you know you have spent many hours.

Yes Blame those American "build" shows that produce a car every week...they don't show their bodgey work or any stuff ups...also notice that they always have a "deadline" to meet. Gives the unknowing public the idea that building a car is simple and straight forward !

Me either - I actually created the countersinks on the wrong side of the brackets and had to weld them up and re-machine on the correct side. Like the kids tell me - too old, too slow, too stupid!

That's what they say but what have they done ? ha ha everyone makes mistakes...it probably looked right in the machine vice ! Building a car from scratch is a very rewarding task !
