I don't hate anyone either (cobra owner or not)- some take offense at some of the stuff I say, but Im just a $hit stirrer, and really don't take any of this stuff very seriously. I was talking to one of the folk on my list about the forum, and those that get upset at stuff that is said on here. Particularly if negative opinions are given about their cars.
In a forum, if you post pics or details of their car on here, you are opening yourself up for comment. If its negative, suck it up and take it on the chin. eg. In the past Ive upset a few folk by suggesting the drb shape isnt entirely pleasant to look at when compared to others that are available (still a nice car, just not as pretty, and widely acknowledged by most). That doesnt mean I dislike drb owners, or ford owners, or owners of cars with gold wheels. It isnt a "personal attack" to make comment at someones car - if anyone sees it as that, then just man up. Seriously.
Ive coped heaps over mine - some open, some behind my back. (Particularly after 2009 nats where for the first time in the history of the universe a chev powered cobra was crowned "most original" *). And quite frankly, I dont give a $hit - its my car, Im building it how I like (still not finished - and unregisitered - thanks for reminding me Ash
), and if you want to make comment go ahead. It bothers me not what anyone else thinks. I make no claims about it except those made with the intent of stirring up those who take it all too seriously (* this is an example of the same).
