Heading up the river tomorrow to give my boat a run.
These guys are spot on, Kincaid have all the bits you need, but it is still a bit of work. I would not worry too much at this stage about the temp setting, it is the least of your worries!
I am running a heat exchanger as I do not want river water in the block. Runs about 180 to 200 deg F flat out. You can buy marinised LS style engines off the shelf, but they are not cheap.
I can help with advice on fitting to a mid mount, but have limited knowledge of jet boats.
