ADR 3/03 seats

The process is:
Obtain a copy of ADR3/03 from the department of transport website (or equiv un reg)
Commission a lab certified for ISO17025 or similar to conduct the tests specified in the ADR (we call it NATA accreditation here).
Draw up the seat showing dimensions meet ADR 3/03.
Sell the seats as ADR3/03 compliant with a copy of the lab test results and drawings.
The local engineer will do the rest.

Note: testing doesn't have to be in Australia. ISO17025 is an international standard so will be recognised here.

Nice effort Zedn, but the drawings and dimensions are actually irrelevant and you actually need a special jig to measure the seats correctly to get the critical height measurement.

Seats that pass ADR 3/03 will have the required dimensions.

So this is what you want with your seats:

A copy of the ADR 3/03 certification
A statement from the seat manufacturer
And preferably identification on the seat (brand & model) that matches the ADR 3/03 certification
