Post the photos Bernie. It deserves a thread of its own.

Very cool Bernie,

Have you ordered larger fitting under wear ?

I find nylon is best as the stains are easier to clean !

Soulman

Sol,

I will be happy to have anything on but in it...

We are currently rubbing back the aluminium to a brushed finish. Waiting on the engine to arrive from Shelby. Not to mention all the paperwork with his signatures..

I have deleted a lot of my response as this was getting into a p!ssing competition.

I went to the All Ford Day event and did not like it. End of story.

If that upsets organisers that is their problem...

We did not continue our events as insurance was a big problem for aircraft aerobatics over crowds and non static events.

If people did not like the events we ran that was fine. We had an ex senior cop from the All Ford Day doing his best to stop our events.....unsuccessfully.

We gave the entire show car gate takings to clubs who assisted collecting and organising show cars. To my knowledge no club ever assisted with promotion as this was handled internally...

End of story......

Everyone knows who I am, I could never be accused of trying to hide.

Default Car shows

The thing that peeves me the most is entry fees to car shows there should be none as without the cars there is no show

Bryan, Hope you don't mind but I noticed in your gallery, this photo at the All Ford Day in 2005. Was that at Geelong then?

Hi Bryan,

Yes agree it is a little rich to charge the way they do charge. Whilst I know it goes to charity it is the principle.

But don't say so or they will be on top of you.

Interestingly our shows finished in 1994 and were successful with $5.00 car entry. Yet I still get flack from certain organizers of events. Tall poppy I guess, because they were huge events.

If you need some space to do some work give me a call.

Bernie

Merv and Sharon,

Yes that photo was on the main arena at Deakin University. I think the photo was taken at the first All Ford Day held there.

My Cobra is just out of the photo.

Early events saw us display over 20 Cobras.

Hi Bryan, I know at least a dozen cobra members that would jump at the opportunity to help you out with a garage, tools and a helping hand.
Sounds like a good excuse to fire up the BBQ and get the guys together.

Let me know if you want me to organise something for you.

I'd be keen to twirls spanners and and skin my knuckles and talk Cobras with you blokes. I did a clutch in a Corvette over Christmas. Can't be much worse than that.

Cheers
