Default About to get a FFR M4 need some advice from the guys down under

Hey guys, i was on ls1tech and a "ls1 cobra" posted on there to come over to this forum board for info on LS swaps into the cobra.

i will be buying a FFR M4 very soon and will be doing a ls swap into it.

we are a shop and do a TON of LS swaps into various cars and trucks, but i always like to learn from others mistakes and get onthers info on what they did or would do the next time.

things i am looking for info on are:

motor mounts
hooking the clutch to the t56 slave
fitting a 13" rim on the rear for a 345 tire
who makes a header that is easy to modify to fit.
getting a very short shifter that doesnt go at a extreme angle.

this car will be a ls FI motor with about 550-650 RWHP. i dont think there would be much of a way to hook anymore than that. the motor and blower will be able to do WAY more but with a 2000LBS car i think its pointless.

any info you guys can give me would be GREAT! and thanks for you time!!!

What gearbox and clutch setup?
With regards to rear tyre size, there is a dedicated FFR forum, I dare say they will have that answer, headers I think most peole make there own, maybe talk to FFR and ask?
My car uses Corvette mounting ears and Holden (Australia) Commodore rubber mounts.

I have talked to FFR many times now they have nothing really for me in the way of doing a LS motor in the car. if i do a FORD they have everything! LOL

Is your car "MADE" for the ford motor also? and you just made those mount work?

Boxhead referred to a dedicated FFR forum for Chev installs into a Factory Five.

This is it:
Putting An LS Motor Into An FFR Roadster (Long Read) - FFCars.com : Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum

You may also want to look at this forum showing pics of non ford power trains in FFR cobras, including LS engines:
