I have a TomTom and have also used a Garmin device. Had no problems from either. Generally the Tomtom gave slightly earlier warnings for turns. Took the Tomtom to England last visit after downloading the UK & Ireland maps before leaving Aus. Made life much simpler getting around Pomgolia
