Hey Baz, not sure which cross country racer you are referring to, but if its the Trophy Kart, I sold that a few months ago, after all the promises from importer, sadly no one took the reins to organize events, Local off road club offered but cost to water down track was going to be too high due to there track being 40kls down a dirt road.

Or the single seat buggy, that got sold last year.

Hail storm was a pisser (even if it happened when the Mrs's dragged me to Bunnings).
The storm was very localized and happened in about a 1kl square area with my house being on the eastern end of it.
We had no damage and by the time we got home it was all melted away, Brother inlaw got it on video.
Here are some pics from locals.
This first picture is about 200 metres from my house, my house is next block on the right after the hedge of trees.

This is a mates yard at western end of storm.

Dave your pics look great. I saw a couple of vids on you tube too. Not something you see every day in Alice.

Ahhh, the feminine side is starting to come out Dave eh

I keep coming back onto the site to see if you have put up this years calendar Dave-you know like the one you put up a year or 2 ago with a pic of your missus on it.
Or have you sold out this edition AGAIN ?

If that's a Datsun 1600 don't hurt it..they are worth a bundle in the eastern states. A young bloke at work just paid $8000.00 for a shell !

Did some more cleaning and assembling yesterday, also started pulling out the NOS stuff to fit up.
Front park/indicator lenses.

Number plate light.

Back nearly all assembled (this pic shows color very close to actual color)

NOS tail light lenses I bought a few days ago, coming via registered post.

I have some repro front side indicators also on there way, Word is frames are crap (I have good originals) and lenses fade after a year in the sun.

Going to see glass man soon, to see what has to be done as far as polishing glass.
