Paneling and door are up (Brother inlaw did it while I was watching TV).
He is like me, prefers to work on his own without dumbarses asking dumb questions.
This is the workshop side, will run cabling etc for light switches, TV power and aerial also dart board light before cement sheeting the shop side (with insulation between)

This is car/office side, to the left of the door I have a "breakfast hutch" with model cars, coffee, tea etc, that will be moved over soon (I have a roll of carpet to lay down first)

TV will go on wall close to door (Did not want to put dart board there in case someone walks in mid bad throw), Board will be to the right (Although might put board on a different wall, did not think about drunk dart and a TV).
Also in the far right corner is where the pot belly heater will go.
Aussie Mike, deano59, guye and 6 others like this.

It's not pretty that's for sure!!

But it is a test of will-power to get out there sometimes.

So Boxy where's your lycra cupboard set up - lol

Yep, looks like more proof that cyclists should not be on the road.

Yep that's commitment!

Then there are the twerps on bikes with motors, showing as much bare skin as those lycra-wearers.
Every time I see one, I think of that Mick Doohan ad. on TV....
[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAHTQisEl2Q[/ame]
....and it sends shivers down my spine

Sorry Box, slightly off-topic.

Cheers,
Glen

I am no bike rider by a long ways, but I shared this with a friend of mine that rides for Focus and he had the following response...

"And those Aussies like to take credit for being tough, but the first picture is of one of my brothers, a Dutchman named Laurens TenDam, the second is a Colombian kid, and the last guy is...Hell, I don't know what that crazy Asian is doing."

OK, I will get back on topic....

True, first dude is Dutch, second is Nairo Quintana, a Colombian.
But before your friend casts any dispersions, have him watch any of our local past times. AFL or NRL.

A bit has happened over the past few months.
First one I guess is what was being transformed into my lined shed/cave has taken a back step.
The Brother in law left so I finally got my donga back and we have told people who have asked that it is no longer a rental accommodation.
So I finally have a proper office, it has been names "BoxOffice"
So I have done some painting, removed the stove (as I have a BBQ outside) and set it up as my office/cave.
Bought some old Atari gear and analogue tv, this will end up in a period painted 44 gallon drum in Castrol or Shell colours, so if anyone can confirm how either of these where painted and labeled in 1970, I would be grateful.

Mildred and I went across to Dubbo for the Toyota Nationals at Easter time.
Picked up an award and had an interview with Toyota for there online site (I haven't looked for a link yet).

I have also bitten the bullet and bought the ultimate in JDM Mags that suit Mildred.
These are called Hayashi Yayoi (Sakura = Cherry Blossum)
1 pair is all restored and ready to go, second pair I need to get restored.
But they stopped making these in my size in about 1986, so hard to find.

On my trip to Dubbo, I called in past Melbourne and picked up most of what is my "Cadbury" Valiant Pacer.
This is not mine, this is the last one built.

Here is the correct engine.

Mine is the second last car off the production line, and special ordered by Cadbury Chocolates and given to there Adelaide rep in 1971 for highest sales.

Also just a few weeks ago Mildred was in a photoshoot for RedCentre nats advertising.

I also just recently purchased a 1966 Corona, this car is in very good condition and will most likely end up being exported to Arizona USA.

I also picked this up yesterday (1.8x1.9metre) plastic bubble sign.
Sparky mate will make a light board to mount behind it, I will use it in my office parking/BBQ area to light it up.
