Gee its been a long time since i posted some progress pics,
Saw Mando's comment on another post about the number of builds but the lack of progress posts on here, and i'm one of the guilty, so heres some progress pics.
Firstly,
Mounted the engine and gearbox in the chassis and since then some dress up as i've tinkered along making brackets for
Oil Cooler, Canister, Brake and Fuel lines etc.
At the moment, i'm playing with the manifold and dual quad EFI, trying to get a bit of a modern ol' school look.
Also mounted the brake and master cylinders so i could make up the clutch lines and playing around with a header modelling kit to see if i can get the cats inside the bay instead of underneath as there isnt much exhaust or tube area.
The canister is from a VE commodore.
CNC'd the battery mount to suit the Optima Battery.
Made up some shims for the steering rack mount.
This is the
Oil cooler mounted and tubes / hoses.
