"Not the first Start"

First start a few weeks back, engine was revving pretty hard at idle, the IAC ports on the base of the quads were over hanging the manifold mount in free air, The IAC wasnt functioning correctly, and a lot of air via the oil catch can . PCV circuit.

With the IAC ports, I hadnt installed the blanking plate supplied by Holley with the quads, didnt even notice they were supplied in the box, but i had made my own incorporating a throttle cable mount....now going cheap !

Bottom of the throttle body showing the IAC port and my flange plate.

Correct plate on the manifold with the blanking tab

Next was the PCV circuit and catch can.
A bit of googling revealed i was drawing too much air through the PCV circuit, so pulled the original inlet manifold from storage and measured the PCV port on the manifold.
The tube internal diameter is just 2.5mm and my hose from PCV vent to oil catch can then to throttlebody was -4an, so 6.35mm

Made a small restrictor to fit into the -an port fitting with a 2.5mm hole in it.

back together and ready for start #2

With the IAC function i have found that Holley use a Chrysler type IAC motor, but the loom i have is pinned for a GM type, same Delphi Metri-pack 150.2 4 way connector but the stepper lo circuits a reversed wiring...why why why.

Here is a low res video of "Not the first start"
I had the IAC port blocked in this start up hence the need to adjust the throttle plates
