Sounds like you had a great time. The photos and views from up on the fire ladder were amazing when I went up a few years back... 
I was so surprised to see the then Police Chief standing there encouraging owners to beat the previous time down the street.
I think the OCC purchased a golf kart for him to drive around town from part of the raffle proceeds.
The Smith boys from a Factory Five Racing were big supporters and Double Venom a local member with the Smiths were involved in early events.
This year Hurricane Motorsport donated the Cobra raffle prize.
I waiting for your call to let me know I had won it...
