Owner is a mining dude, this is not the Mamba project, this is Qld's fastest Cobra..... DRB been building this car for a while. Some impressive specs... No chance of getting this sucker registered...

Oh OK so this one's chassis was built at the same time as Gary's then. Its got some nice gear.....Carb infused body... Roger built the engine?

Love it....Sweeeet!!!

Are we ever going to see Gary's car run in anger again??? I thought it'd be coming to the Nats???

Sadly I don't think we will.... It's getting modified, water brakes etc, buying a silverado & 40 foot transporter... To run at Warwick events..... It's all a bit confusing.

Doesn't it now reside in "Warwick"? That is a little odd.

Default Boss

It seems these COYOTE engines are getting more and more popular. Backdraft recently put a NA Coyote Boss Engine in one of their race cars and it made 427RWHP on the dyno. Stock tune, live pipes.

Default Nats QLDER

Well we have the numbers in and it looks like we will have 38 attendees and 19 cars approx. this year. A great turnout and quite a few Nats Virgins joining the fun this year. Some new cobras and GT40's attending which is awesome

Now make sure you maintain the enthusiasm and don't bail at the last minute. Also make sure you confirm your booking at the various hotels as per Ron's email.

Just to get you in the mood here's some casual 1 handed track sprint action from my Backdraft mate Tony Martin at BDR Racing.

So casual steering with one hand!!! Woa!

20th Nationals Definitely on!!!

Check out above link now and you will find the new entry form and Supp Regs.

It is important this year to get your entries in by 16 September, due to increased costs we really need to weigh up where we are at our next club meeting on September 17.
