Not sure what I will do. I know I don't want to be too far from my family. Part of me is waiting on the outcome of the federal election. I was one of the folks advising Malcolm Turnbul on his fibre to the node strategy for the NBN. I set up several technology demos for him on VDSL2 and FTTN installation. Post Election there may be more of a demand for someone who knows their way around this stuff.

Well done Mike, Turnbull is the only high ranking official with half a clue about what we really need for the NBN. Ex-senator Con(job)roy on the other hand... what a mess he left behind. Anyway, best we leave politics out of this forum.

I'd been working for ADTRAN for the last 12 years and even though I don't work for them any more I still like their gear. I worked pretty closely with engineering and they always provided me with interesting new prototype goodies to play with.
