I am still busy getting the Chariot ready.
found out the hard way that my new wheels don't quite fit on the front so had to adjust the tie rod ends to clear.
I have decided that perhaps a rear ratio change is going to be a good idea so the diff is getting changed out too this weekend.
Should be back on its wheels tomorrow I hope.

Yeah, new tyres all round, heavier springs on the front and dialed in some extra negative camber.

I am finally ready to go.
Changed the diff ratio and took it for a squirt last night.
I am quite happy with the outcome
Roll on the weekend, how good does the weather look!!!!!!

Weather is looking great for you lucky Bugg**s going.
How's the bookings going and is there yet an interim list of attendants.?.
Would be awful to be down on numbers for such a well run event..

I don't have a list of entrants but as of yesterday our numbers were in the low 70's.
We had a few drop in today so my guess would be that we get somewhere around 75 to 80 all up for the event.
We will need to sell lots and lots of raffle tickets and merchandise to make up the shortfall.

I love that headlight "stamp" just in front of the guard....he must have given you a decent hit.
And yes....it's all about the camaraderie ......not who is the fastest !
Sure......

When u live in a sunny place full of shady people its quite a stark contrast. Not a puffed up outlaw mc club member to be seen.. It's sooooo refreshing.

Sitting here at the Gold Coast...it's about 22 degrees...I'm trying to cool down with a rum and coke after cleaning and packing the Cobra...and you're in front of a bloody FIRE.
It's hard to imagine how the temp can change so much in only a days drive away.
I remember one year leaving the big heavy warm Cobra jacket hanging in the closet at the Gold Coast because it was 31 degrees when we were getting ready to leave ...
and a day later watching bloody SLEET bouncing off the windscreen of the Cobra as we were approaching Goulburn...me whinging like a little girl.....whilst wearing ALL my other clothes, including two pairs of socks on my hands...but minus the nice big warm Cobra jacket.
On ya Goulburn !
Gotta love the Nats road trip!
This year...roof and a heater....
probably be 25 degrees in Goulburn on Thursday !!
See you soon guys.
Warren
