Can't remember where I got this photo from, but it came off the web from my years of trawling...

Would that be legal here? Never thought that could be done. It just doesn't look right. Taking a jigsaw to the body, ouch.

Just shows what's possible with a little thought. There's very limited leg room and obviously that roll bar would have to go, but it's unbraced and is probably there only for cosmetic purposes in any case.

The pic brings back happy memories of taking Craig (750HP) and his sister to an Austin Healey annual rally in Coffs Harbour when he was four years old in the back of my Healey 3000 Mk 2. The kids used to love riding in the Healey, especially on lovely cool spring days with the top down. There'd often be a little voice from the back saying 'go faster Dad', with the reply from the passenger seat 'stop saying that--we're going quite fast enough'. Happy times....
